London: Printed for J. Johnson, 1776 Book. Good. Full-Leather. 4 volume set. The first two volumes are from the second edition published in 1776 - ESTC T142219. Volumes 3 and 4 were published in 1787 - T142218. Remains of pencil notes to the margins of vol 2, but these have been almost completely trimmed off by a binder in the past. Pencil lines to margins. Vol 1 has an ink stamp to the frotn free end paper - James Weston April 20 1785. The other volumes have - J Weston 1795. Bound uniformly in full leather - cracking and splitting to the spine edges. Wear to the head and foot of the spines. Some wear and marks to the boards. Some spotting and light browning. A heavy set. Extra postage may be required to send outside the UK..
