Octavo. xvi 527, and xvi, 532pp. Red 1/2 leather spine, green cloth. Frontispiece of the author in volume 1. Gilt foredges. Scratching and scuffing to the leather. Sun toning to the cloth. Bookplates on front fixed endpaper of both volume which have come detached, leaving glue residue. Gutter starting at pp iv-v in volume 1. Internally clean. First done in 1749, this is the fifth edition. Prefixed with a sketch of the of the life and character of the author.
