Dark red cloth with gilt title field and lettering embossed on spine, title field blind-stamped on front board, rough cut pages, 416 pp. No dust jacket. Endpapers foxed, chip at corner of front/free endpaper. Spine lightly faded, very light edge-wear. Masefield's best known novel (ODTAA = "One damned thing after another".) Text block is clean, solid, appears gently read. Very good condition..
