New York: Gambi Publications, 1976. First Edition. Quarto (27.5cm); large format, full color, glossy stapled wrappers; priced $1.00 on the upper right corner; each issue has 80pp,; cover art by Kelly Freas [vol.1] and John B. Gaughan [vol.2]. Both volumes have light browning to the pages of the text; else minimal edge wear; vol. 1 has a few short, closed tears to upper rear cover, else Fine.
"The mid-seventies, during which Odyssey's two issues appeared, were characterized by contradictory events in the science fiction periodical market...Distribution, a crucial factor in a magazines survival, was poor. It's shoddy appearance worked against it- coarse, pulpy paper, confession-mgazine advertisements and a content page strewn with exclamation points and hype. The result was poor sales and subsequent cessation of publacation." TYNN and ASHLEY, p.442.
