It is a colelction of moral aphorisms collected by the librarian Robert Dodsley (1703-1764) based on an antique indian manuscript by a bramin. In fair conditions but complete. Full leather coeval cover with golden title and decorations in the spine slightly worn in the edges and spine. Cracks in the hidges: front plate almost detached, back plate restores.
