All hinges & text blocks tight and intact except the front hinge of OEUVRES POSTHUMES is starting at the top & bottom. Light scattered foxing & toning. Some scuffs on spine edges & corners. Two small armorial bookplates in vol 1. OEUVRES Volumes1-7 published by Belin. Vol 1: ([4], xliii, 784pp, ([1]. Vol 2: [4], iv, 624pp) . Vol 3: ([4], 601pp). Vol 4: ([4], 873pp, [1]). Vol 5: [4], 798pp [1]. Vol 6: [4], 751pp). Vol 7: ([4], 880pp). At the rear of vol 7 is a 31 page index for all 7 volumes. OEUVRES POSTHUMES published by L'Editeur is illustrated with 3 tissue-guarded engravings & several vignettes. (vii, 400pp). Marmontel was a French poet, dramatist, novelist, critic & historian.
