Octavo. #153/500 copies (total limitation 532), half-title, publisher's page with their imprint and printer's page with his imprint, limitation page, XVIII, 304(1)pp., (4)pp. subscriber's list, bound in 3/4 red morocco over marbled paper covered boards, raised bands with compartments fully gilt decorated, lettering and top edge gilt, marbled endpapers. Mathurin Regnier (1573-1613) was a French satiric poet who wrote about typical characters of his time. A clean bright copy of this very scarce work.
