About This Item
London: Chapman & Hall, 1955. Bound in the publishers fine weave blue cloth with gilt title lettering to spine. This is a very good copy throughout. Binding tight and fresh. Book sits solid and square with all corners sharp. Previous owners name written neatly to front free endpaper otherwise a very presentable book. Housed in the very good dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. Colours remain vibrant and bright. Light chipping to the head and heel of spine with light routine wear and signs of handling otherwise a very good example of a notoriously fragile dustwrapper. Small hairline tears to either side of top of spine but a nice example nontheless. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. Photographs of the book and the dustwrapper are available on request. A very nice presentable copy.. First Edition. Very Good/Very Good. FIRST EDITION.
