About This Item

Kansas City: Lowell Press, (1974). First edition. One of 150 numbered and specially bound copies, signed by the artist. 74 pp. with illustrations after Wieghorst on every page (many in color). Publisher's padded brown calf with large gilt facsimile signature of Wieghorst on front, yellow endpapers, matching slipcase. A very slight wave to lower edge of first few leaves but hardly noticeable. An excellent copy. Recognized as the "Dean of Western Painters", Wieghorst's work is often compared with that of Remington and Russell, and his paintings hang in the great public and private collections of western art.
