Chatto & Windus, 1902 Chatto & Windus, London, 1902, 1st ed, 387pp plus a four page catalogue of "Chatto & Windus's Cheap Popular Novels" and a 32 page catalogue dated "Jan 1902", blue cloth boards with gilt titles to spine and gilt titles and coloured floral decoration to the front cover, the edges and corners of the covers and the head and foot of the spine are bumped and rubbed, the pages are tanned with age, the endpapers more heavily so, there is some spotting to the early pages, the top edge of the pages are gilt and there is spotting to the front edge of the pages, the binding has been loosened a little by reading but is secure, the endpaper and the page edges are a little grubby else a good copy [BW1011][Box 31]
