New York: Stringer & Townsend, 1854. 1st ed. 304pp. Frontis., plates, advertisement. Orig. pictorial blindstamped cloth. Spine lightly faded, minor foxing, else very good. An interesting collection of short accounts of the mission work performed by the ladies at Five Points in New York City during the 1850s. They aimed to raise funds through the sale of this book to help aid their cause of helping the surrounding neighborhoods.
