About This Item
NY: Harper & Brothers, 1899. First Edition . Hardcover. First issue, with "Chelsea" on page 5, 6 lines from the bottom, very good+ with no dust jacket. Bucolic illustration on front board just slightly dulled; paper covering the front hinge is slightly torn, but the hinge is tight. Spine is a little darkened. With 16 illustrations by Howard Pyle.
