LIMITED FACSIMILE EDITION, number 227 of 500 numbered copies. Originally published in London by Crosby Lockwood in two separate volumes in 1947 and 1950. A narrative bibliographic description of British agriculture books; volume one dates from 1523 to 1730 and features about two hundred fifty titles while volume two dates from 1731 to 1793 and cites near four hundred titles. Publisher's green cloth, gilt-titled spine. Slightly dusty jacket. Near fine.
