About This Item
George Routledge & Sons, 1938. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. 1st printing. In very good condition and very good unclipped dust jacket now in protective sleeve. Small nick to top of jacket spine and age toned to spine and top edge. Original black boards with gilt titles to spine in very good clean condition. Internally clean throughout although there is a slight fade to edges of pages. By the co author of English Domestic Clocks which was published some 30 years before this volume. With costs of re-publishing the original title prohibitive, Cescinsky here provides an abridged form of the original title which concentrates on all that was important in the earlier book. Profusely illustrated.
