New York: Whittlesey House. Reprint Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo 8" - 9" tall. Still handsomely looking copy bound in black cloth, with sharp and distinct gilt lettering to spine. Dust jacket present, but price-torn, fore-edge and top-edge wear, else protected by a plastic jacket. Foreword to the original, 1928 edition by Bernard Rackham, then author's Preface to that edition, and then that author's Preface to this New Edition, dated to 1948. Volume contains scholarly apparatus in the form of, e.g., notes, index, and bibliography. Many, many score black-and-white illustrations and photographic plates, quite fine. [6], 7-292 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
