One-inch split along front joint, spine and front cover slightly soiled. FIRST EDITION, first issue with the floral endpapers. PRESENTATION COPY, with a lengthy inscription on the dedication leaf: "For my friend Dr. Williams / This volume written in a short-sleeve mood will I hope be read by him in the same key! James Huneker April 1916." BAL 9906.
