Some foxing to endpapers and edges of first few pages.Also some light foxing to fore-edge of textblock. The title page bears the blindstamp of the art gallery Offer Waterman & Co. to the lower right, with a handwritten reference number to the centre. 246pp. Five pages of colour photographic illustrations with many b/w illustrations. This book is a sequel to to Volume I which dealt with the period 1500-1700. Volume II (this book) describes old Jersey houses from the period 1700 to the early years of the 20th century. The author furnishes a wealth of information of the history of the island of Jersey and its people as well as detailed historical and architectural notes on its buildings.(We also have a copy of Volume I - Old Jersey Houses from 1500-1700 available separately).
