A fine collection of the best pieces of writing from Mari Sandoz's Great Plains Series of books, including The Beaver Men, Crazy Horse, Cheyenne Autumn, The Buffalo Hunters, The Cattlemen, and Old Jules. Fine-looking, structurally sound hardcover, little discernible wear, bright interior, unmarked. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, moderately worn, some chipping along edges, a tape-repair to upper-front panel, but protected by a plastic coat, still quite attractive. Volume contains scholarly apparatus in the form of, e.g., notes, index, and bibliography. [5], 6-319 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
