Two Volumes Hardcover Cloth 632 & 686 pages. Condition Very Good NO Dust Jacket. IHS Reprint edition 1950. Nice tan buckram boards with red boxing and gilt embossing show off this Clean, tight, square set with no marks, highlights or bookplates. Books Well kept and carefully stored in unread condition. Slight shelf wear. Bumped corners. Edges have the usual yellowing and spotting. Pages are lightly toned with minor signs of wear and/or age. Tight bindings with good hinges. Not an ex-library, book club or remainder copy. Heavier than standard book; S&H will be adjusted.
The Old Northwest is an unparalleled account of the pioneer period, the problems of settlers, and the westward movement of the American people. No historian, professional or otherwise, who is interested in the history of the region comprising Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and parts of Minnesota can afford to be without this book. Books are always wrapped then packed in cardboard boxes with padding to protect the contents. International shipments are double-boxed with extra copies of the customs forms.
Listings on Biblio quote shipping prices for sending one book. The single book shipping price assumes the book weighs five pounds or less. Oversize books or multi-volume sets require additional shipping and handling.
