Both volumes: Gilt-stamped ivory cloth over boards, top edges gilt, illustrated with several plates; Volume I: pp. (xii), 311 ; Volume II: pp. (xiii), 353, Index. Both volumes: covers lightly stained, corners and spine ends lightly bumped. Gilt-stamped blue cloth dust jackets are lightly worn at corners and spine ends, rubbed on sides and along spine.
