Very Good Minus. 364pp. Octavo [21 cm] Lilac cloth over boards, elegantly stamped in gilt, silver and rose (stamping very bright). Top edge gilt. Title page and text printed in red and black. Cover designed by Margaret Armstrong, with her intials stamped in the design on the front board. Slight spine slant; spine and surrounding areas just a bit discolored; front endpaper cracked along the hinge; front hinge soft; several small initialed labels mounted to the front free endpaper. In the publisher's worn box with several splits to the edges. A romance novel which follows the lives of Rose and her widowed aunt.
