Contains black and white illustrated frontispiece. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Rough-cut edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine is slightly tanned, with mild crushing to ends. Heavy splitting to head of spine. Gilt remains bright. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall.
