Pp. xvi, 660 some black-and-white photos, maps and diagrams. Publisher's original black cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine, orange pictorial dust jacket, lettered in black on the spine and front cover, 8vo. This volume presents 19 original articles on the anatomy, evolution, ecology, behavior, ethnology, and taxonomy of Old World Monkeys. Special reference is given to problems concerning taxonomic relevance to behavior and morphological characters. The papers in this volume were originally prepared for the Wenner Gren Foundation conference on the systematics of Old World monkeys held at Burg-Warternstein, Austria in 1969. Printed errata to the volume is laid in at the front. Two journal reviews of the volume are laid in at the rear. No ownership marks and few signs of use.
