Paper covered boards with a brown cloth spine. 144 pp. An American edition of this once popular English religious poem that was castigated by critics, but still remained popular. With a selection of his other poems, including Night, London by Midnight, Banks of the Rubicon, etc. GOOD condition, ex-theological institution library. Spine label, bookplate and minor interior treatments present. Some browning to the covers. Minor scuffing along the extremities. Large faint dampstain affecting the lower half of the pages throughout. Minor to moderate foxing.
