Dustjacket unclipped bearing original price, rubs, edge nicks, wear to folds, chips to heel of spine, in new Brodart sleeve. The collected letters of Ellen Tucker, to the eminent American poet who she married in 1829, along with a selection of her journal entries, and several of his poems, two of them hitherto unpublished, are here collected by his great-granddaughter, and presented with permission of the Ralph Waldo Emerson Memorial Association of which she is a trustee. Appended: Notes, Notes on the Text, Index.
