Presentation copy from WS Merwin (1927-2019), Pulitzer Prize for poetry (1971 and 2009), to author Edmund Morris (1940 - 2019), Pulitzer Prize for NonFiction, "The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt" (1979). Green, rough paper covers, titles stamped in green, stapled spine, unpaginated. Inscribed on the ffe: "-For Edmund Morris/ leaves/ with warm greetings from/ William/ Peaki/ Maui/ Dec 20 1989" $200. Half inch strip along outer edge of front cover slightly toned, else fine.
