This is a Good Copy of this hardcover Book in Publisher's original green cloth with bright and vivid orange title lettering to both spine and upper cover in a Very Good with a couple of repaired closed tears along the outer edges of the dust-jacket on it's underside.Not price clipped with 8s 6d net showing to the front flap of the wrapper.This copy has no previous names present and this copy lacks it's front endpaper.Illustrated with frontispiece and a further 20 black and white photographs taken by the Author and a fold out map of China and Manchukuo.Uncommon title by Fleming which is a travel book describing his journey day-by-day from London through Moscow and the Trans-Siberian Railway, then through Japanese-run Manchukuo, then on to Nanking, the capital of China in the 1930s, with a glimpse of "Red China". First to Russia and the Trans Siberian Express to Manchuria occupied by the Japanese and then to China. 319 pages with 17 pages of black and white photographs and a map. Book in very good condition with some minor foxing to a few pages and reader wear. Cover has some wear and bumps to corners.

Illustrated with a frontispiece and 21 black and white photographs taken by the author. Folding map. An excellent very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents, lightly spotted to the closed text block edge and a bookseller's paper label to the bottom edge of the rear pastedown, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the bright and crisp dustwrapper and wraparound band (as issued) that remains without loss or tears but is somewhat faded to the spine. Not price-clipped (8s 6d net to the front flap).
