First Edition. This book measures approximately 7.5" x 4.75", with 375 numbered pages. Has a protective mylar cover. Profusely illustrated with engravings.
This book is in very good condition. Moderate surface wear to the boards and head of the spine. Boards exposed at the corners. Gilt lettering on spine is slightly faded but still visible. Front gutter has small chips present. Previous owner's notations on front endpaper, and name and year on the title page.
