No jacket. A 'tongue-in-cheek' humorous look at the English, 1917, a comparison of English and American behaviors, the Irish question, Scotland, the Church. Interesting and humorous in its way. Binding of Green ribbed cloth gilt titled on front and spine; very clean with a small (less than half inch) brownish spot near the fore-edge and a half inch whitish mark on the edge itself. Light corner and spine edge wear. Tight and solid sewn binding. Interior is quite clean, pages 64 and 65 have a small brownish mark in the margin, otherwise free from any markings, lightly and evenly toned. . 88 pages. 6.8 x 4.3 inches. Doubleday, Page and Co, Garden City, NY 1917.
