This book has 450 photographs printed in seven-colour lithography covering the principal Orders of the European countries. The concise text describes each of the Orders, and there are copious line illustrations in black and white of the supplementary Orders of each country which are not in the colour section; as well as of the wearing of Medals by men and women in both military and civilian dress. This book, too, includes a number iof the military Decorations won so widely in the last war, as well as many of the prominent civilian Decorations such as the George Medal, the Polar Medal and others.
