Half leather with marbled boards; nerves, titles and gilt friezes; coloured fore-edges; folio, 39.5 cm; 2 volumes; pp. 1308 overall; normal traces of time and use, lacks in the bindings (reversed between parts I and II), some sporadic and irrelevant walkways and woodworm holes in the bindings and interiors. Printed on two columns in Latin, also in italics. The title pages have allegorical engravings and the first two have red and black characters; initials and end caps with engravings. Presence of side calls. The first volume: 1bl, pp. (24) 571 (due to a numbering error - if there are several - they seem 567pp), 1bp 1bl. In vol II: 1bl,  559 pp., 1bp, 62 pp, 1bl, (80) pp., 1bl. This work (three texts in two vols.) Presents the complete work of Orìgene Adamanzio (Alexandria of Egypt, 185 - Tire, 254), a very famous theologian, writer and catechist.
