Boston, January 1978 - July 1982.. Sixteen issues. Printed wrappers. A handful of corners bumped, wrapper of #10 shows some dust spotting along the spine, the remainder about fine. Edited and published by Cid Corman. Publication was generally quarterly, and distribution non-commercial. Corman's ORIGIN was among the most vital and interesting of American periodicals devoted to contemporary poetry and translations. The format of featuring a specific author in each issue was persistent. Issues here feature (in company with other contributors) Brian McInerney, Clive Faust, Cid Corman, Mark Karlins, Horrah Pornoff, David Miller, Michael Heller, Philippe Denis, John Perlman, George Evans, Kusano Shimpei, Andy Echavarria, Armand Schwerner, Lorine Niedecker, Ted Pearson, and Gill Ott & John Levy.
