Octavo, first edition, pp. 196, pebbled green morocco boards with a stamped design and embossed lettering on spine and upper panel, illustrated with schematics, engravings and halftones. Begins in the stone age and runs through the 19th century, encompassing the work of Pascal, Leibnitz, Felt, Burroughs and others. Condition of this book: Boards worn at extremities, barely noticeable initials scratched into upper panel. Leaves clean and tight, images fine. Overall near fine. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
