London, London, John Murray, 1897.. 1886 8vo. xxi, 432 p. Publisher's green cloth, gilt. A little shelf wear on the spine ends and a small white mark at the top of the front board. The endpapers shoe browning from contact with the boards. Internally this is a clean, tight copy. The 6th edition was the last revision of the text to appear in Darwin's lifetime.
