Baltimore: Maryland Center for Creative Music, 1987. Vintage four-color Webster Young poster for a "Visiting Jazz Artists '87" performance at Maryland Art Place (MAP), January 8, 1987, for the Baltimore Jazz Workshop and hosted by the Maryland Center for Creative Music.
Jazz trumpeter and cornetist Webster Young is best remembered for his smooth, lyrical playing, and performed with the likes of John Coltrane, Dexter Gordon, Hampton Hawes, Jackie McLean, Lester Young, Bud Powell, and Ike and Tina Turner, among others.
11 x 17 inches. With a small, faint crease to the lower left corner, else Near Fine.
