About This Item
Hardback. Methuen. London. 1986. Hardback with dj. First edition. Dj is bright and unclipped. There is some rub to the top of the dj at the spine with minor nicks and a touch of rub to tips. A little lifting of the film over the dj but still intact. Contents clean and unmarked. Joe Orton wrote some of the most outrageous plays in the sixties - Loot, Entertaining Mr. Sloane and What the Butler Saw which was not staged until after his death. He was murdered by his long-time lover Kenneth Halliwell who then took his own life. John Lahr wrote 'Pricek Up Your Ears', Joe Orton's biography. Smart black boards with gilt titles to spine. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.
