This small 40 page booklet was produced by the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown to be distributed to students and faculty friends of Quigley who died shortly after these three lectures were delivered in 1976. The general title is: Public Authority and the State in the Western Tradition: A Thousand Years of Growth 976-1976, Part 1, The State of Communities, 976-1576, Part II: The State of Estates 1576-1776 and Part III: The State of Individuals, 1776-1976. Quigleys teaching assistant, Helen Veit put this together from his notes used during the lectures, this infomation taken from the introduction by Dean Peter Krogh, School of Foreign Service, no date or edition indicated on the booklet, dark cover with an illustration of the school's emblem. Very Scarce! Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
