A fictitious character, Jean Paul Raymond, created by Ricketts enabling him to reveal his displeasure at the fate of his friend, Oscar Wilde. Decorative title page in red and black. Limited edition, copy 512 of 800. The cover was designed by Charles Ricketts, the typography by Francis Meynell. Introductory Note by Thomas Lowinsky. Front and back free endpapers toned, otherwise fine.
