About This Item
New York: Keith Jennison / Franklin Watts, 1965. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Issued Without Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. First edition thus first printing. Not dated but has 9 digit SBN code so would have been printed 1965-1970. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards clean, with bump to top edge, some rubbing to corners and spine ends. Spine slightly sunned. Text block clean, with light toning to edges. The pages are crisp and unblemished. Feels gently read. Very good condition. No jacket as issued. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A very good square example of this title, a very nicely printed volume. The 25 intricate Pyle B&W woodcut-esque illustrations are reproduced mostly full page, with additional headpieces. This is described as the "large print" edition by the publisher, and appears to have been done as a stylistic choice. An uncommon printing in the UK.
