Octavo, unpaginated, green cloth boards with beveled edges, black stamped lettering and a gilt palette on front, all edges gilt, illustrated. Not a children's book but meant to introduce the uninitiated to art; interesting to all for its depictions of artists' studios and working methods. Condition of this book: Spine ends, corners rubbed with minor losses, boards a bit darkened but gilt is bright. Interior is clean and tight. Very good and attractive overall. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact.
