Cassell, London, 1885. xii + 947pp + 16p ads + colour front, with many b/w illus throughout (plans, elevations, diagrams, furniture, fittings,etc.) . Architecture, Decoration, House Drainage, The Nursery, Heating, Lighting, etc. 16 contributors. Cloth boards, scuffed, marked and frayed. Edges damp stained. Spine faded, and frayed with a 4cm split to top of front hinge. The damp damage extends to the outer pages which are a little crinkled, the edges are stained red (cover colour). Contents little shaken with sporadic foxing. 23x17cms.
