Slightly rubbed at the head and tail of the spine and each of the corners. Offset tanning of the end pages, otherwise clean and without annotation. The book is based on a series of 6 lectures delivered by the author where he shows conclusively that the most important underdeveloped lands are not in the tropics and uninhabited latitude as we might expect, rather hopeful and development lies in the middle Latitude is in the United States, the soviet union, Canada, Australia and the Argentine. To meet the worldwide menace of hunger, the author advocates the removal of man-made barriers and more efficient utilisation of our present lands.
