About This Item
New York: G.W. Dillingham, N.d. [ca 1913]. Reprint (first published 1871). Octavo. Publisher's pictorial cloth; 340pp, 12pp publisher's ads. Slight rubbing to spine lettering, mild toning to text; Very Good. Undated reissue, in Dillingham's uniform series of The Historical Novels of John Esten Cooke. Dated from publisher's ads. A late-career novel by the prolific Virginia novelist, and something of a thematic departure, this being an historical romance set among the nobility of 18th-century Wales.
