From the collection of Wayne Prescott Suttles, renowned anthropologist, scholar, and linguist regarding many Pacific cultures, and especially the U.S. Pacific Northwest Coast Salish people, also an interpreter for the US military in the Pacific theater during World War II. Condition notes: PBs. Pages: clean, bright, tight. Cover: Lavender wraps, stab binding, black titles to front paster; light edge/shelfwear, corners a bit worn.
Synopsis
Water Margin (also known as Outlaws of the Marsh, All Men Are Brothers or The Marshes of Mount Liang) is one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. Attributed to Shi Naian, whom some believe to be Luo Guanzhong, the novel details the trials and tribulations of 108 outlaws during the mid Song Dynasty.
