First edition. Jacket design by John Nash. Colour frontispiece + 1 colour plate + many b/w plates. Publishers original teal buckram lettered white to front and gilt to spine. 8 cm split to lower paper of front inner hinge but binding sound. Light foxing to text block edges and endpapers. Content generally clean. Previous owner name and date to front free endpaper. Jacket not clipped 30s net, spine ends chipped, loss to front top corner, tears and creasing to edges, spine sunned. Not ex-library. 271 pp. All books are individually described. All overseas orders are sent airmail by Royal Mail International Tracked.
