London, Samuel French Ltd. 1935 Acting Edition. Hardback, 8.5 x 5.5 inches. Quarter bound blue morocco leather to spine and corners, white cloth to boards. In very good condition. Small rubbed patch to bottom end of spine. Else cover clean and smart. Some minor darkening to endpapers with neat inscription to front “John Martin, in honour of a brave venture, from R.Q. Southgate House 1935.” Actors signatures to cast list “C.A. Storr, Michael A. Walker, W. Bryce Alexander, J. Irvine Watson, E.T. Dalton, Robert Readhead, R. O. Mason.” Relevant newspaper cutting loose inside. One or two minor light foxing spots to page edges else a very good clean and tight copy. 72pp. Illustrated with a B&W photograph of cast/scene pasted at front. Stage plan at rear.
