About This Item
London: The Poetry Bookshop. Good. 1916. First Edition. Paperback. 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 32 pages; 1st edition, with impression state unknown. Lacking the original Lovat Fraser illustrated wraps. Text block soundly bound and generally clean. First leaf is the title page which has just mild spotting and toning. A small vintage Strawbridge & Clothier price sticker to the top edge of the final page. Light rubbing to edges. The only indication of priority in printing of the 1st and 2nd impressions was printed by the publisher along the top edge of the wraps. So this must be presumed a 2nd impression. First published work by Graves. A good candidate for a recasing in cloth. Text block nearly VG but lacking wrap so G only thus .
