Sydney: Angus and Robertson, 1937. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. This book is a very scarce example and states ''First edition November 1937, 10,000 copies'' on the Copyright page.The book also has the added bonus of the publishers wrap around jacket band stating the book is a first printing of 10,000 copies. Condition: The book is generally good. It has a small cup ring to the front board and small amounts of discoloration. Board edges and spine tips are very lightly rubbed. There is some light foxing to the prelims and fore edges. Book store sticker on the copyright page. No inscriptions. The jacket front flap is detached and the wrap around band is in two pieces. Some chipping and closed tears. For preservation the jacket and band are housed in a clear protective sleeve. 316pp + 11pp publishers ads
