About This Item
First Edition/Stated First Printing; A Near Fine book in a Very Good or better Original Dust Jacket. An outstanding copy of this novel, basis for the fine 1943 film, starring Henry Fonda. This copy is in near fine condition with a square, tight binding, bright blue and gold lettering over beige boards, and clean pages throughout; the book does show some mild foxing to the spine and rear gutter, and some moderate off-setting to the pastedowns. Housed in a crisp and bright very good or better dust jacket that shows only some minor rubbing and chipping to the spine ends, edges, and corners, some mild foxing to the spine, and one short, closed tear to the top of the back panel. Overall, a highly presentable and collectible copy of a book hard to find in nice condition; Not remaindered, not price clipped ($2.00 intact), not ex-library; in a fresh Mylar sleeve and will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.
