Oxford: Oxford University Press, 1993. First Printing, First Paperback Edition. . Trade Paperback. Very Good. An amusing and entertaining anthology of bad guys in history, literature, legend and myth. Chapters on master crooks, minor crooks, murderers, seducers and cads, con men, traitors and spies and tyrants, among others. Makes you realize sometimes the devil really does have the best lines. Introduction by Mortimer of "Rumpole" fame. Pictorial wrappers show reading creases on spine, other minor surface and edgewear, no tears or chipping. Text is clean and unmarked, tight and square, not remaindered. A lot of good reading here.
